I'm asking about RC in particular and if I need to download new builds or patches.

Having been using RC4 for several years, .I re-install on a new PC with win7 64 bit and received yesterday a new key. However am now repeatedly getting " Error 75 radarcontact rcv4 module.atc_ack" messages, and RC4 quits. FSX path C:\program Files(x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

So my airports afcad for example Fly Tampa Boston seems incorrect when taxiing.
any help would be great.
I checked the afcad file and it's the error is all about my Mega scenery California not found. but still my fly Tampa KBOS afcad does not seem right.

I'll try to get it up on the main Schiratti/Dowson page in due course.

The main changes are:

1. It is, at last, re-structured to have FS9 and FSX scenery structures as its priority -- previously, being a long-standing program operating on BGLs right since FSW95 and FS98 days, it was optimised for those formats, with the FS9 and FSX format files "bolted on" later. The result of this re-structuring is that it is now much much faster scanning FS9 and FSX scenery layers.

2. Taking advantage of the increased performance, the FS9/FSX/ESP scenery layers are now scanned twice. The first scan actions all of the deletions, whilst the second deals with the additions. This fixes the problems some scenery add-ons have caused in the past, with "exclude" files following the true airport files in the same folder.

I did the scenery rebuild, but no change. My EIDW is installed in its default folder, it means Flight Simulator 9/Eiresim Dublin 2009/EIDW. But installing it elsewhere doesnīt change a thing.
When I load RC and choose a flightplan, the FP window is shows eg. LKPR to (32000 ft), so there is no destination, which should be EIDW. On controller Info Page, there are no information about destination (EIDW).
What is the problem?

Currently within sight of short final to SBFZ, and directly under a SID, although I canīt see the airport or runway. So little traffic here anyway - shame.

1. Approaches/descent speed restrictions. Are they issued? If I had a dollar for everytime the bad FSX issued a go around because of a race for the threshold with another aircraft, I would be very rich.
2. SID/STARs. They appear to be supported, but I've heard some squawks about how they are implemented. Comments?
3. Voicing. The default voice sounds iffy, but from what I've read there are add-ons/mods that are more human sounding. Comments?
4. Better/more realistic runway use. Many FS airports use, quite frankly, the wrong runway 90% of the time. Does RC improve on this?
5. FPS Hit?

My system: Core i7 920 (stock speed), 6GB Ram, GTX 260 video board, running FSX, Windows 7 Professional, mainly the PMDG add-on aircraft. No other FSX add-ons except the aircraft, although I'm toying with a traffic add-on too (my traffic, ultimate traffic, etc.)

Are the any limitations with RC when using the PMDG 747?

When i press ctrl+shift+m to 'hand over' the plane, automatic contact into new airspace / sectors does not happen (not handy for long flights!). Even if im at cruise alt, handing over doesnt seem to do anything.

I'm still having problems running applications on the WdeClient macine (the applications loose contact with FS after 31/2 to 5 minutes).

I have also great difficulties in finding out if my two OS's really are capabel of running with the WideFS.

Hence I wonder: Could those of you who reads this topic please tell if you have managed or not to run WideFS with the same configuration as I do:

WideFS-server machine: Vista Home premium 64 Bit

WideClient machine: XP Pro 32 Bit


I just need to know if you succeeded or not, but of course if you have the time then just briefly tell what you did to achieve this and/or if there were any particular problems that occured during the set up process.

I assume they are compatiable with FSX and RC4...and are more "professional" sounding.

under win xp when i load the flight that i saved with the pmdg the aircaft save also the panel state so when i load the flight everithng come back and i could continue the route.
but the problem start when moved to windwos 7 when i tryied to load a saved flight with the PMDG 747 the fs9 bring me to the exact saved location but the pmdg is stuck !!!! the panel is not coming back to the exact save position and the pointer mouse is in "thinking" mode (the spin circle)
so i cant do nothing , i aslo cant push on any button .
