Welcome to the BRAVO 369 "Flight for Education" forum. Please visit our WEB Site at WWW.BRAVO369.ORG!

The "Flight for Education" introduces a whole new world of real time flight simulation and virtual flying experiences where students and teachers everywhere can actively participate in a historic flight from Bellingham, Washington to Provideniya, Russia. Flying a 1941 Boeing Stearman equipped with a revolutionary avionics package, anyone with flight simulator software will be able to fly in virtual formation, or ride along as a front seat passenger, with the ability to see exactly what the pilot is seeing during our winged journey over some of the most rugged and beautiful country in North America.

Scheduled for the summer of 2010, the flight will follow the original Northwest Staging Route from Great Falls, Montana to Nome, Alaska. Few people today know that during World War II, the United States and Canada extended a hand to the Soviet Union by ferrying munitions, cargo and aircraft to them via the newly created Northern Lend-Lease Air Route. As part of this educational program, which includes mathematical, scientific, geological, geographical and historical curriculum, we will be honoring those pioneering aviators who opened up the Canadian Yukon, Alaskan, and Russia skies of the Northern frontier.

The BRAVO 369 Flight Foundation is a non profit organization dedicated to education, aviation history and the preservation of historic aircraft. We invite you to join us in this 21st century adventure integrating old and new technology and welcome your participation in this forum.
