Has anyone here ever overclocked a E6850, and if so, how much did you successfully OC it? I've been trying with mine but haven't had much success in gaining anything. Of course I'm not well versed in the proper technique.

I had mine running at 3.6 for about a year and a half. I have since sold it. Just Google overclocking tutorials.

A friend of mine has run an E6750 @ 3.6GHz for a couple months now after a cooling change and a re-overclock by yours truly. Had it at 3.2 on stock cooling before. 400MHz isn't bad for a mere $40 and a Scythe Mugen 2 cooler, which is gorgeous btw.

Mine is at 3.4ghz stable, if I go any higher my computer won't boot but I am more than happy with 3.4

Could you tell me what values you changed in the BIOS? I'm doing something wrong because I can't seem to be able to see a difference no matter what I change. Thanks.

You need to first understand the basics of overclocking. I recommend reading this: http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1804

Simple overclocking of the 6850 involves changing the FSB and Multiplier as well as changing the ram settings. This will vary from motherboard
to motherboard.
