I'm running nHancer 2.5.7 and the 182.50 drivers on my nVidia 285 GTX 2Gb.

I'm also running FPS Limiter, which I love. Therefore I run FSX using the new *.bat file I created for the FPS Limiter.

In nHancer there is a window entitled "Executables". For my FSX profile this currently reads simply FSX.exe. Should I change this to the same *.bat files I use to start FSX with the FPS Limiter???

Many thanks

I don't think so - the .bat file calls fsx.exe anyway, as an argument to FPS_Limiter. Are you not seeing your nHancer settings correctly in the sim?

NHancer is about image quality.
FPS Limiter is about framerates.
They have nothing to do with each other.

The FSX executable is in NHancer because when the executable is loaded the choosen image settings will be applied.

I think we all are aware of that.

The OP's (reasonable) question was, since he starts FSX using a .bat file instead of executing fsx.exe directly, should he define a profile for the .bat file in nHancer. I believe the answer is no.

Many thanks Tom, I think you've answered my question.

But here is a follow up question... This all came about because I tried to fix something which probably wasn't broken in the first place. Doh! blush.gif In my efforts to tweek FSX I went into nHancer. I suddenly realised I had an FSX profile which had FSX.exe as the executable AND an FSX duplicate profile which also had FSX.exe as the executable. nHancer flagged this by turning the profiles red. I saw no problems with my FSX FPS or image quality, but this still struck me as something wrong which needed to be put right... am I correct??? huh.gif I then went and deleted the FSX.exe from my non-modified nHancer profile and changed it to manual activation. Now I see a very noticable drop in my FPS. blush.gif Any ideas? I'm now gonna go back and set it as it was and see if my FPS is restored...

Many thanks

Maybe your nHancer settings are too high for your system? I'm using the settings from this thread http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=29041 (scroll down a ways), try to compare with your own.
